Wild goose chase

This was dumb, she knew this was dumb. But for some reason Kyla couldnt stop thinking about jake, trying to find jake, and asking herself questions about jake in her head.

Is he cute? yes. Is he nice, that u know of? yes.

She pushed her way past a few people in the hall than banged on a door. No one answered. She continued to hit it as hard as she could with her fist. Her hand was throbing now, but she just kept going. Until finally the door was opened and there was nothing left to hit, unless she wanted to move hir fist forward and pound Jake in the face.

There he was. Standing in a room. A room that was clearly his own.

And here she was. In a hall. On the verge of a panick attack.

She hadnt even realized she was crying until he reached up and wiped a tear off her cheek. She sniffled a little and let him guide her in with a slight tug of her wrist. And she didnt even care that she was sitting on his bed and crying into his shoulder as he held her.

"Is it about your parents?" he whispered into her hair.

At this point Kyla didnt even care that he seemed to know about they're pending divorce. She noded.

He pushed her up right, not in a rood way, just so he could look at her. She watched his eyes as they looked her over. His shoulders firmly held her upright, she knew if he loosened up she would fall forward onto his lap.

Next thing she knew she was spilling her guts to him. This boy, who hadnt done anything for her but sit and hold her and wipe a couple tears.

"They didnt even tell me, they didnt want me to know. And then next thing i know dad left. And moms date-" he cute her off.

"I know, i know the whole story."

She gave him a confused look and shook her head, no. "wait what? how do u know the who-"

he cut her off again, but he shrugged first.

"Because..." he reached forward and held her hand "I listen."
